Qualifications- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or closely related field, plus 7 years of financial and accounting experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least five years of experience with the oil and gas value chain.
- The experience must include at least one year of experience with each of the following:
- (1) Experience working with macroeconomics in the oil and gas industry;
- (2) Performance management and planning experience within a large company;
- (3) Corporate strategy experience;
- (4) Financial reporting and accounts experience;
- And (5) experience with equity markets.

- The Investor Relations Officer at Statoil Gulf Services LLC in Houston, Texas will conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs at Statoil, and advise our Investors Relations (IR) unit for North America;
- Will report to the Vice President of investor relations North America;
- Set up and execute IR plan for North America including road show planning and conference planning;
- Participate in conferences and investor roadshows as IR responsible representative supporting management;
- Act as Statoil’s main daily contact towards NYSE and market makers;
- Follow up on queries from investors and analysts;
- Identify and engage with target investors and analysts;
- Prepare roadshow material and speaking notes;
- Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports on Statoil and the U.S. investor sphere;
- Support Development & Production USA (DPUSA) Business Area in the quarterly closing process including Q&A process;
- Support DPUSA and MMP (Midstream, Marketing and Processing) Business Areas in relation to special projects and BD activities;
- Perform ad hoc work on business development and other projects;
- And act as U.S. IR’s representative in weekly review activities.
- Travel around 50% of time, including domestic and international trips.
