Qualifications- BA/BS in Accounting
- CPA a plus
- Minimum 8 years energy industry/commodity experience
- Accrual concepts and management
- IFRS Reporting
- Financial reporting experience
- Strong computer skills (esp. Excel and SAP )
- Sarbanes Oxley experience a plus
- Self-motivated / willingness to learn
- Dependable and commitment to deadlines
- Able to work in a team and also independently
- Strong coordination and communication skills

- Purpose of position: The Senior Accountant position is primarily responsible for preparing and analyzing interim and annual financial statements.
- Responsibilities and Duties:
- Quarterly internal reporting packages for trading entities.
- Monthly reporting packages for shipping and terminal activity.
- Annual audited financials for NG business.
- Quarterly and annual Financial Reporting Package schedules.
- Intercompany reconciliation for all legal entities.
- SG&A Analysis including trend and variance analysis.
- Assess and post accruals/provisions related to SG&A.
- Create and develop ad-hoc reports to support the business.
- Assess and follow up AR and AP balances.
- Internal and external audit work, internal control processes.
- Other project work as needed.
